Jerry Morrison is Guest Director for "The Pajama Game"

Guest Director for "The Pajama Game" will be Jerry Morrison. He holds an MFA in Directing from Baylor University and has directed, performed in and/or produced over 100 productions. Mr. Morrison currently serves as Artistic Director for Ironfront Theatre, Helena, Montana’s “ultimate intimate contemporary theatre experience”.

In addition to being a founding member of the theatre in 2004, he has directed the Montana premiere productions of Seven Santas, Rounding Third, The Vampire Monologues, Soccer Moms, Columbinus, Greek Holiday and The History of the Devil.

Additional credits include the Los Angeles equity-waiver production of Earth and Sky; the Montana premiere of the Off-Broadway hit My First Time; The Dickens’ Christmas Carol Show at the Sheboygan Theatre Company in Wisconsin, Arsenic and Old Lace at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI, and the (AriZoni award) nominated The Desperate Hours at Theater Works in Phoenix.

His most recent directing projects (2012) include the musical Clue, the psychological thriller The Haunting of Hill House at The Shawnee Summer Theatre company in Indianapolis and The Dixie Swim Club at The Barn Theatre in Minneapolis.

He also served as Artistic Director for MentorWorks Theatre of South Pasadena, CA whose mission was to pair adult theatre professionals with aspiring high school students to learn the craft of theatre production. At MentorWorks he directed their inaugural production of What I Did Last Summer. Prior to that, Morrison worked in and around the LA region, directing a variety of plays including Golden Boy, The Snowball, Kid Purple, Domino Courts, Broadway and the West Coast premiere of a revision of The Wisdom of Eve. While in Texas, he co-founded Texas Actors Theatre directing Lone Star, Lonely Planet, The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket, The Voice of the Prairie and God’s Country.

Performances  are February 14-17 and 21-24, 2013.
