Final Weekend of Grease Performances, Aug. 9-12

Our final main series show for the 2011-2012 season is the legendary musical, Grease. Tickets are $25 for adults and $13 for students/children, and are on sale Tuesday-Friday from 9:30 to 1:30 and one hour before each performance. Box office: 254-778-4751.
     The final evening performances (8 p.m.) will be August 9-10-11. The final Sunday matinee (2:30 p.m.) will be August 12.
     The immensely popular 1950s musical follows the antics of a group of Rydell High School seniors as they navigate their way through the complexities of love, cars and drive-ins. This rock and roll show contains the hits, "Summer Lovin'," "Greased Lightin'," "Beauty School Dropout" and many more.
     The T-Birds include Trenton Schneiders (Danny Zuko), Joshua Foley (Kenickie), Adam Winkler (Doody), Evan Clawson (Sonny LaTierri) and Chaz Corder (Roger). Avery Ling is playing Sandy Dumbrowski. The Pink Ladies include Alex Tolleson (Betty Rizzo), Martha Satterwhite (Frenchy), Sarah Sanderford (Marty Maraschino) and Kathryn Quirk (Jan).
     Other cast members include Monica Thorne Boyd (Miss Lynch), Dan Becker (Vince Fontaine), Clyde Ciupek (Eugene Florcyzk), Brian Johnson (Johnny Casino), Shelby Surdam (Patty Simcox) and Mary Jacq Kirchhoff (Cha-Cha DiGregorio).
     Making cameo appearances as Teen Angel in "Beauty School Dropout" will be John Mischtian, Craig Pitrucha and Brian Johnson. The ensemble includes Kinsey Boyd, Joy Ciupek, Makayla Ferman, Zack Sims, Garrett Widmann, Nickolas Winkler and Anna Wohleb. Our band includes David Perez-Guerra (keyboards), Daniel Perez-Guerra (guitar), Nico Medina (drums) and Jacob Smedley (bass).
     The production staff includes Tim Campbell and Michael Fox (co-directors), Dustin Ozment (technical director), David Perez-Guerra (musical director), Regina Corley (vocal director), Jana Zajicek Connolly (choreographer), Janice Wilson (acting consultant), Carrie Ling (stage manager), Tracy Rodarte (assistant stage manager), Al Dobos (costume design) and Chris Ling (lights).
